What We Do

The Chatham Library Foundation exists to provide crucial financial support beyond public funding. Our current focus is funding the Library of the Chathams’ construction project. Once complete, donations will support an endowment to provide consistent operating funds.

Our goal is to help the library grow as a vibrant, inclusive space that meets the evolving needs of the residents of Chatham Borough and Chatham Township, ensuring it remains a valued resource for generations to come.”

Chatham Library Foundation has been organized exclusively for charitable purposes under Section 501(c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Code EIN 92-3966499. The Foundation’s purpose is to support the Library of the Chathams, a joint free public library created pursuant to N.J.S.A. 40:54-29.3 for the use and benefit of the residents of Chatham Borough and Chatham Township, New Jersey.
